Nathan Boelkins is president of the Avionics business unit of Collins Aerospace, an RTX business. He leads a team of more than 14,000 employees that design, manufacture and service advanced flight deck solutions, including cockpit displays and vision systems, communication, navigation and surveillance systems, aircraft sensors, and fire protection systems for commercial and military customers around the world.

He joined the company in 2001 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in general management, program management, supplier management and a variety of engineering disciplines. In his previous role, Nathan led the Business & Regional Avionics portfolio where he was responsible for customer satisfaction, leading portfolio growth, strategic planning, profit and loss, and advanced product development for global business & regional avionics customers. Prior roles include Vice President & General Manager of Commercial Avionics and site leader in Rockford, IL, responsible for the Electric Power System business.

Nathan received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and master’s in strategic management from Northern Illinois University.
