Our Leadership

Nathan Boelkins, president of Collins Aerospace's Avionics business unit, leads a team of over 15,000 in designing and maintaining advanced flight deck and connected aviation solutions for global commercial and military customers. These solutions encompass cockpit displays, vision systems, and a variety of communication, navigation and surveillance tools, alongside digital capabilities that support comprehensive end-to-end solutions across flight operations‒ from passengers and airports to aircraft, airlines, and air traffic management.

Since joining Collins in 2001, Nathan has held roles of increasing responsibility across general management, program management, supplier management, and several engineering disciplines. Previously, he led the Business & Regional Avionics portfolio, focusing on customer satisfaction, portfolio growth, strategic planning, and advanced product development. His past roles include Vice President & General Manager of Commercial Avionics and site leader in Rockford, IL, for the Electric Power System business.

Nathan holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's in strategic management from Northern Illinois University.
