The low range altimeter (LRA) is a landing radio altimeter that measures the distance from the aircraft to the ground during approach and landing phases of your flights. It includes enhancements to a digitally-controlled variable bandwidth filter which offers improved noise rejection and leading-edge tracking. It also features digital technology and proven frequency-modulated continuous-wave techniques.

The LRA-900+ is designed to fulfill all new 5G interference environmental requirements without additional cabling, wiring or antennas. The system has protection for Category K lightning and Category Y high-intensity radiated fields (HIRF). And it’s fully functional through 200 milliseconds of power interruptions.
