- Izon™ will integrate access to highly valued applications and services into one mobile-friendly interface
- Users can access the information they need anytime, anywhere, on virtually any device.
GENEVA (May 22, 2022) – Collins Aerospace will be demonstrating and showcasing it’s recently launched technology platform — named Izon™ — for the first time in Europe at this month’s EBACE 2022 exhibition. Izon integrates and streamlines business aviation services including flight planning, weather, fleet operations and more. Izon gives pilots and flight operators a single place to access all their applications any time and on virtually any device that is connected to the internet.
“Due to the travel restrictions last year, we know a lot of our global customers were not able to attend NBAA where we first demonstrated the capabilities and benefits of this new tool,” explains Nazeif Habboub, director of Business Aviation for Collins’ Connected Aviation Solutions business. “We look forward to rolling it out to a new audience who are able to take advantage of the streamlined access it provides to our customers’ business aviation services.”
Previously, flight operators would have to log into a different site, with a different password for each of their services as they prepared for a flight. Each site would look different and many weren’t accessible on mobile devices. Izon not only eliminates those hassles, but is also designed with a flexible, modern user interface and customizable dashboard to make it the right fit for flight departments of all sizes.
Izon customers currently have access to Collins’ ARINCDirect flight support and connectivity services and the recently launched Calendar Exchange application. As the platform grows and evolves, the portal will allow for Collins and third parties to also share and exchange data.
