Collins Aerospace teams up with Duncan Aviation to expand installation network for Goodrich de-icers

  • More one-stop services for Collins Aerospace customers
  • Agreement adds 12 new U.S. locations for quality de-icer installations
  • Company’s de-icer has been an industry leader for more than 80 years

OSHKOSH, WISC. (July 22, 2019) – Through a new agreement with Duncan Aviation, the largest family-owned maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in the world, Collins Aerospace Systems has significantly expanded its Goodrich De-icer Authorized Installation Service Center network in the United States. Aircraft owners and operators now have 12 additional locations from which to obtain quality installation of Goodrich de-icers which have been trusted by the aviation community for more than 80 years. Collins Aerospace is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYS: UTX).

“Duncan Aviation has been an authorized dealer for many years for legacy Rockwell Collins products,” said Tony DiGiacomo, Aftermarket Business Development Manager for Collins Aerospace. “Following Rockwell Collins’ integration with UTC Aerospace Systems late last year, Collins Aerospace can now utilize Duncan’s existing channels and relationships to bring even more products to owners and operators in the U.S. faster and more cost-effectively.”

“We’re pleased to team with Collins Aerospace on this latest product offering,” said Mark Cote, vice president of Duncan Aviation Parts Sales, Avionics, Accessories & Satellites. “Thanks to the in-depth factory installation training Goodrich Aerospace provides to their partners, our customers will continue to receive the same quality service and experience that they’ve come to expect from Duncan Aviation, Goodrich and Collins Aerospace.”

More information about the company’s de-icing equipment is available this week at Oshkosh’s EAA AirVenture in the Collins Aerospace exhibit, number 2130 in Hangar B.
