Ed Dryden is President of Collins Aerospace's Interiors Strategic Business Unit, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In this role, he is responsible for leading a broad portfolio of aircraft interior systems for seating, lighting, galley, oxygen, passenger service, evacuation, de-icing, lavatory, waste, potable water and more. His goal is to support original equipment manufacturers, airlines and business jet customers by developing innovative and reliable interior systems solutions that meet each customer’s unique requirements.

Ed’s passion is around building world-class talent to collaborate with customers and ensure performance excellence and innovation for the future. He’s been with Collins and its heritage businesses for the past 21 years and has extensive commercial, defense and aftermarket experience. Most recently, he led the international Actuation Systems business headquartered in Wolverhampton, UK. Prior to that, he served in various roles across Actuation and Propeller Systems businesses including program management, operations, engineering and site leadership. Outside of work, he continues his mission to develop the future of aviation talent by partnering with science, technology, engineering and math organizations to spark interest in aerospace at a young age, especially for underrepresented populations.

Ed earned his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Wales – Cardiff. He subsequently earned an MBA from the University of Warwick – Warwick Business School.
