Miniature, ruggedized IMU
The MinIM® MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is a next-generation product designed to meet customer demand for cost effective and smaller IMUs. This is a ruggedized IMU that uses the latest capacitive technology to deliver a device that is 1/4 the size and weight of established production MEMS IMUs - at under 1 cubic inch in volume. Its small form factor and low cost mean MinIM is ideal for any application where space and weight are a significant issue.
All digital MEMS inertial measurement unit
The SiIMU02® MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is an all-digital, second generation, micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) inertial measurement unit (IMU). It delivers excellent angular and linear inertial measurement performance in a compact and lightweight package, and includes an option that delivers proven performance that is gun hard to 20,000g. SiIMU02 is capable of meeting challenging guidance, navigation and platform stabilization requirements, including applications such as guided 70mm rockets, glide bombs and projectiles.
Tactical grade, FOG-level performance, all-digital IMU
The LITIS® tactical grade Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) offers near fiber optic gyro (FOG) performance in a compact, lightweight, rugged design. It has the same form factor as SiIMU02® to allow simple system upgrades, providing enhanced capability with less reliance on GNSS aiding. Its modular architecture enables adaptation to meet specific customer requirements.
Integrated Navigation System
SiNAV® is an integrated navigation system combining a tactical performance MEMS IMU with state of the art military GPS receiver technology, navigation processing and power conditioning electronics to deliver tactical, free inertial performance and navigational accuracy on the ground, on the water, or in the air.
High performance rate sensor
The SiRRS02® rate sensor is an enhancement of our first-generation silicon ring gyroscope (SiRRS01®). Designed to provide high performance under harsh environmental conditions, this device uses our highly successful silicon vibrating structure gyro SiVSG® MEMS angular rate sensor to deliver improved bias and noise performance. SiRRS02 significantly out-performs similar products on the market today and is suitable for applications across the commercial, aerospace and military spectrum.
Precise and miniature rate sensor
The OptIM™ is a miniature two-degrees-of-freedom rate sensor providing precise, two-axis outputs of angular rate and temperature. The sensor is designed specifically to meet the growing demand from high-end commercial and industrial market applications requiring a performance grade, non-ITAR rate sensor. The OptIM uses Collins Aerospace industry-leading micro electro-mechanical system (MEMS) inertial sensors that are integrated and calibrated using our in-house, state-of-the-art test facility.
IMU15™ is a compact six-degree of-freedom inertial measurement unit providing precise 3-axis outputs of angular rate, acceleration and temperature. This product is designed to meet growing demand from high-end commercial and industrial markets for an industrial grade non-licensable IMU.
