Irene Makris is the president of Power & Controls at Collins Aerospace, a business of RTX. She is responsible for a $6 billion global organization delivering integrated solutions for commercial aerospace and defense customers.

Prior to her current role, Makris was the vice president of Customer Service at Pratt & Whitney Canada, where she oversaw global aftermarket operations, asset management and commercial services supporting more than 65,000 engines in service. Before that, she was the vice president of Global Marketing & Sales, vice president of Global Supply Chain and director of Externals, Controls & Nacelles. Before RTX, Makris worked at Honeywell and GE.

Makris is Six Sigma Black Belt certified and has completed executive leadership programs at INSEAD, West Point’s Thayer Leadership and MIT. She holds an MBA from the John Molson School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University.
