Troy Brunk


Troy Brunk leads the Interiors strategic business unit of Collins Aerospace, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In this role, he is responsible for leading a broad portfolio of aircraft interior systems for seating, lighting, galley, oxygen, passenger service, evacuation, de-icing, lavatory, waste, potable water and more. His goal is to support original equipment manufacturers, airlines and business jet customers by developing innovative and reliable interior systems solutions that meet each customer’s unique requirements.

Troy has served in a variety of Collins leadership positions spanning 27 years. Most recently he led the Communication, Navigation & Guidance Solutions portfolio for the company's Mission Systems business based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, he was responsible for a broad portfolio of secure and resilient military communication and navigation solutions, actuation and guidance solutions for military applications, along with health and fuel sensing systems used across military and commercial airborne platforms.

He also served as vice president and general manager for Airborne Solutions where he was responsible for the company's avionics and flight deck solutions for military fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.

Troy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Iowa. He serves on the advisory board for The University of Iowa's Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
