The first China-based Collins Aerospace service center opened in Shanghai in 1997. In March 2003, this service center was converted into a joint venture between Collins Aerospace and China Eastern Airlines.
Located in the Pudong Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Collins Aviation Maintenance Services Shanghai Ltd. (CAMSSL) covers 1,500 square meters. The facility uses advanced Collins Aerospace testing equipment for communications, navigation, sensors, displays, flight control computers, weather radar and in-flight entertainment systems, as well as non-Collins Aerospace automated test equipment.

Examples of our service and support customers include:
- In 2014, Xiamen Airlines selected Rockwell Collins DispatchSM 100 avionics service and asset management program for its new fleet of six Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
- Hainan Airlines and China Southern Airlines, which selected our DispatchSM program in 2012 to service and support their Boeing 787 fleets.
- Air China, which in 2010 signed a 10-year maintenance agreement with CAMSSL for avionics support.
- Xian Aviation Science and Technology Company, which awarded Rockwell Collins the MA-60 and MA-600 simulator programs in 2009. Collins Aerospace will use our CORE™ simulation architecture to supply key components of the MA-60 full flight simulator and the MA-600 flight training device.
In addition, our global network of more than 80 locations provides repair and overhaul of avionics equipment for commercial, business, corporate and military operations.
