TERPROM® is the world’s most proven digital terrain system. It uses stored digital terrain elevation data, inputs from the aircraft’s navigation system, and radalt to produce a highly accurate terrain referenced navigation solution and state-of-the-art protection against controlled flight into terrain (CFIT). TERPROM is already in operational service with over eighteen air forces worldwide, operating on many different aircraft types including fast jets, transporters and pilot trainers. TERPROM is also suitable for rotary wing aircraft and can be supplied as a software suite supported by appropriate map memory storage or as a self-contained Line Replaceable Unit (LRU).
