Today’s warfighters demand their communication systems provide reliable data exchange and outstanding voice clarity in a highly secure environment – a difficult task, especially with legacy equipment.
The Collins Aerospace DVP-200 data and voice privacy processor provides a unique combination of data and voice privacy with crystal-clear audio quality that is fully compatible with HF, VHF, UHF and other communications channels.
Its leading-edge technology enables the DVP-200 to overcome stubborn problems that can degrade HF digital communications – such as noise, short fades and delay distortion. The result is an extremely high probability of synchronization over usable voice communications channels.
This highly secure processor features Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit encryption and meets Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 Level 1 certification. As many as eight key variables may be stored in the DVP-200 at one time, enabling flexibility of key management.
Easy to use, the system’s built-in Over-The-Air Rekeying (OTAR) capability supports remote rekeying. A Public Key (PK) enables two DVP-200s to establish a key and communicate without prior agreement of keys. The “public key” mode completely eliminates the need for a secret key to be common to both stations in order for them to communicate in private.
The DVP-200 can be easily integrated into a wide variety of existing voice and data systems. It features a user-friendly display/interface. As an added feature, the DVP-200 can be fully controlled by a personal computer through a standard communication port connection.
