Quick Donning
Crews can don the PBE in less than 15 seconds for protection that lets them be more effective in an emergency. A silicone neck seal adds comfort, and a wide field of vision accommodates eyeglasses. A closed-loop circuit provides chemically generated oxygen to the user on demand, averting lung contamination in smoke or during an in-flight fire.
Safety
The PBE’s reflective material and bright color make it easier to spot the wearer in smoke. It meets FAE 121.337 requirements and is TSO C116 certified.
