RTX's Collins Aerospace enters new global distribution engagement for the NP2000 Propeller System
S3 AeroDefense to become an official distributor for Propeller Systems on C-130H aircraft
WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (Oct 24, 2024) — Collins Aerospace, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, and S3 AeroDefense, a global military distributor for aircraft sustainment requirements, have entered a new alliance aimed at extending the service life of C-130H aircraft and expanding the service sustainment of the NP2000 propeller system. This business relationship will allow Collins growing global C-130H customer base to obtain the NP2000 propeller system in a more expeditious manner.
S3 AeroDefense will support designated countries and their C-130H aircraft fleets and supply customers with the NP2000 propeller system on behalf of Collins. The NP2000 system has the capability to extend the lifecycle of the aircraft while enhancing its performance.
“This collaboration aligns with our commitment toward enhancing our global capabilities and increasing operational readiness for international C-130H operators across the world with the NP2000 propeller system,” said Jesse Miller, Director of Business Development, NP2000 Propellers at Collins Aerospace.
This collaboration provides increased hardware accessibility to end users and expands a robust distribution network for aircraft upgrades and spares to the global C-130 defense market.
“S3 AeroDefense is ready to support Collins Aerospace to deliver the NP2000 propeller system upgrade to customers across the globe,” said Jeff Wnuk, senior vice president of Operations at S3 AeroDefense. “This system is a critical solution that enhances the performance and longevity of the C-130H fleet and as a stocking distributor, S3 is positioned to provide customers immediate access to the NP2000 as the future of C-130 propulsion and increased mission readiness.”
