Legal, Contracts and Compliance

Christoph Feddersen heads Legal, Contracts and Compliance at Collins Aerospace. In this role, he oversees and provides leadership and guidance on all legal matters, including international trade compliance, intellectual property, litigation and contracts.

Christoph brings more than 20 years of experience to his current position. Most recently, he was vice president and general counsel for UTC Aerospace Systems. Prior to that, he served as executive assistant to the chairman and chief executive officer of United Technologies, and held the role of lead lawyer in charge of regulatory matters for UTC’s acquisition of Goodrich. Before joining UTC, he worked for international law firms Cleary Gottlieb and Morgan Lewis in Europe and the United States.

Now at Collins Aerospace, Christoph empowers a global network of legal, trade and contracts professionals to deliver proactive counsel and legal advice to maximize our business objectives while ensuring rigorous compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as corporate policies.

Christoph is admitted in the United States and Germany, and holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Michigan and a doctorate in international law from the University of Hamburg. He was also an Emile Noël Fellow at Harvard Law School.
