Our integrated flight decks, mission computers, navigation and communication systems – including V/UHF and HF software defined radios, data links, direction finders, weather radars, autopilot, displays and flight controls – can be customized for forward or retrofit solutions. Collins systems provide interoperability, increased situational awareness, reduced crew workload, enhanced levels of flight safety and automation for both civil and defense users in Canada.
To ensure flexibility and integration of avionic solutions into specific training curricula, Collins offers integrated simulation and training solutions, providing for concurrency between avionic and simulation solutions. Additionally, the Collins Aerospace facility in Ottawa also provides a domestic I-level repair and service capability for Crypto radios and the Multi-function Information Distribution Systems (MIDS) Link-16 terminals currently installed on multiple fleets owned and operated by the Royal Canadian Air Force.
