France is one of the main countries for Collins Aerospace in Europe in which the company is investing and developing collaborations. Over the next five years, Collins Aerospace plans to invest more than €200 million in production sites, in R&D and in the development of new programs. This includes the development of solutions for low-carbon aviation, such as more electric flight actuators, propellers of the future, new generation fire protection systems, aircraft connectivity to improve operational efficiency, as well as the implementation of surface treatment processes replacing chemical substances in accordance with European REACh regulations. Our investments also include projects to relocate activities in France, such as the maintenance and repair of intelligent avionics probes. These planned investments will also enable Collins Aerospace to contribute to the export of "made in France" technologies to American and international aerospace and defense programs, such as the search and rescue system for the NH90 helicopter in the Middle East. Today, more than 60% of its production in France is exported worldwide, creating more than 10,000 indirect jobs through its supply chain in France.
