Collins Aerospace and Comlux bring tip-to-tail solutions to three V/VIP aircraft

Last year, Collins Aerospace Systems (then Rockwell Collins) announced its agreement with Comlux to provide its VIP customers with a comprehensive product portfolio. One year into the five-year-agreement, the relationship has resulted in a total of three updated V/VIP aircraft using the full or a partial suite of product offerings. Updated aircraft include a BBJ refurbishment, a BBJ completion, and an A320neo completion at the Comlux Completion facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Collins Aerospace and Comlux are currently pursuing additional V/VIP projects, both refurbishments as well as green completions.

The Collins Aerospace portfolio of products for the refurbishments includes avionics, cabin management, content and entertainment options, seating, lighting and galley products, oxygen, water and waste systems, honeycomb panels as well as ARINCDirect^SM connectivity and flight services. The two companies are working to expand the offerings available from Collins Aerospace made possible by the combination of Rockwell Collins and UTC Aerospace Systems.
